Our favorite Disney deluxe resort has always been the Polynesian. We do not visit Disney World all that often but every time we do, we always stay at the Polynesian resort. We originally choose it because of the convenient transportation options it offers with the monorail. It provides a quick easy trip to the Magic Kingdom and to Epcot Center.
But over the years it has become more of a tropical escape and Disney vacation all in one. What we love most is the lush greenery and colorful tropical flowers. They are beautiful and together with the waterfall in the main building it makes for a very relaxing escape. This appeals to us because sometimes when on vacation at Disney we need a vacation from our vacation. Does anyone know what I mean?
We also love the restaurants. Ohana is one of our all time favorites because of the family style all-you-care-to eat menu. It is also great not having to leave the resort to eat a good meal. Anyway, this is just our favorite.
We are thinking of taking another trip at the end of the year and would love to hear everyone's recommendations as to where they like to stay and why. Maybe, just maybe we will try another resort.
