Disney Canada Pavilion
The Disney Canada pavilion in the World Showcase section of Epcot is the first country you will encounter if you are traveling counter clockwise after leaving Future World. The architecture of the buildings, the landscaping, the food and the merchandise in the shops all represent the diverse culture and the natural beauty of Canada. 
The Canada pavilion has a waterfall, beautiful gardens, totem poles, a rocky canyon and stunning stone buildings that represent both the English and French influence on the country.
The main attraction in the Canada pavilion here is a 14 minute circle vision presentation of O'Canada. The theater does not have any seats, it is standing room only. Everyone has a good view however because the screen encircles the room. The film was revised in 2008 and the new and updated version of the old film is now hosted by Ontario native, Martin Short. This new film shows scenes from Canada's beautiful countryside and the snow covered mountains. Various cities like Montreal. Toronto and Vancouver are represented in the film too. Martin Short adds a little bit of comic relief to the film as he participates in activities that are popular such as hockey and curling. The music from the original film has also been updated. You will still hear the same theme song Canada; You're a Lifetime Journey only now, it is sung by the 2006 Canadian Idol winner Eva Avila. If you are like me, you will walk around the rest of the day with the song stuck in your head. 
I don't like going to the Canada pavilion because there is not much for kids to do there. But, I do like the cheese soup.
Off Kilter - is a kilt wearing rock band that performs live at different times throughout the day on the World Showcase promenade. The 20 minute show is a fun mix of bag pipes and electric guitars.
Northwest Mercantile - is the first shop to the left as you enter the pavilion. The shop has a good selection of merchandise by Roots, a Canadian clothes label that features sports apparel, shoes and fragrances. The shop also sells other products that are common the country like maple syrup. This shop has a rustic feel; it almost makes me want to spend time in the great outdoors. Almost. The Trading Post - has a selection of interesting looking dream catchers from British Columbia for sell as well a collection of cute stuffed animals. I like the stuffed moose. The Canadian Wood Cart - is located out front of the pavilion on the World Showcase promenade. They sell leather products that can be personalized. The smell of real leather can be rather intoxicating. It reminds me of my grandfather's shop who was a leather craftsman. This little cart also has pewter crafts and stuffed animals from the Disney movie Brother Bear.
Le Cellier - is the only restaurant available in this country. It is a steakhouse; therefore, the menu offers non threatening items making it one of the most sought after reservations in world showcase. The steaks are out of this world and the cheese soup and the salmon are superb. Other dishes include seafood, chicken and dinner salads.
KidCot - tables are located under the covered patio at the exit of the film. Characters - Kenai and Koda from the movie Brother Bear often appear on the promenade. They are happy to pose for pictures and sign autograph books. 
Disney for Dads Alert! - Steak. Steak. Did I mention steak?
